Getting to Know You
You will discuss with your personal trainer on the phone about what you want to achieve. Here we review your goals and what you want to achieve.
You will exercise at least 3 times per week. You will be taught what exercises to use and how to use them safely and effectively. You will do a combination or weight training, cardio, functional as well as none gym based exercise aimed at reaching your goals.
Based on foods you like and how often you eat, a diet plan will be developed for you. We hope to achieve 2-3 lb weight loss each week.
You will be weighed or measured regularly to track progress. During the process you will also be asked to keep a food diary to help track calorie and nutrient intake as well as for the purpose assisting you in your understanding of diet.
We are aware that you have a life outside the gym, however, you are making a commitment to your health and to your goals. We will hold you to that commitment. If you have to miss workouts, eat poorly or not hit your target, you are expected to have a good reason. This is a serious plan for people who want to better themeselves and their situation.
We are not army officers, and you are not children. We are not here to shout at you. We will support you with both the technical side of diet but exercise and also mentally and emotionally. We are aware this is something that is difficult and we do everything in our power to allow for success.
